A Meet and Greet is a basic behavioral assessment that is required for all new dogs. In order to pass the Meet and Greet, a pup must not display aggressive, reactive, or other types of behavior that may indicate that they will not be safe or comfortable in a group setting with other dogs. This assessment helps to ensure that only friendly, safe dogs participate in daycare and boarding, and also gives you a chance to ask questions and see our facility.
A Meet and Greet takes about 15 minutes on average, but can be longer or shorter depending on how nervous the dog is, since we will go at their pace. If your pup passes, you will get the first 10 hours of daycare for free! We require that these 10 hours are used completely before your pup is eligible to schedule boarding. This allows us to know that the pup is safe and comfortable and is ready to board overnight.
Our daycare is our main service! During daycare, dogs stay in a spacious indoor area for most of their stay with other friendly dogs of their size. They are free to spend their time playing, sleeping, or getting attention from our care specialists at their leisure. Our specialists also supervise them to ensure that dogs who are playing and playing nicely, and that dogs who do not wish to interact with the other dogs are comfortable and able to relax without being bothered by the more extroverted pups. Our live webcams display our dog areas 24/7 so you can always check in! They also have easy access to water 24/7, ample bedding available, and calming music playing.
You can pick up or drop off at any time, and daycare is charged by the hour or at the same rate as boarding, whichever is cheaper. (That way you never overpay for any usually long daycare stays!) Daycare is tracked using our Check-In app that you can download from the app store. The app contains your special QR code that you can use to securely check your pup in and out of daycare and boarding.
The dogs are let outside with the rest of their size group first thing in the morning, again around lunch time, and one last time before bed. They are free to spend up to 20 minutes outside in all safe weather conditions. We also leave the door open so that any pups who are trying to avoid heat or who feel cold can come back inside when they feel uncomfortable. For certain breeds at risk of heatstroke, we will bring them back inside after a short time period during hot weather, since they may not always realize they are overheated on their own. If the weather is dangerous due to extreme heat, cold, or severe weather warnings, we will not bring the dogs outside until conditions improve. For owners seeking additional outside time, we also offer leashed walked for an additional fee.
The only time dogs are separated is when they eat. Dogs eat one at a time under personal supervision a number of times per day that you can choose based on their individual needs and schedule, up to four times a day, and as few as once per day. By default, boarding dogs are fed twice per day, and most adult dogs in daycare eat at home instead and do not eat at daycare.
If a dog shows any signs of illness or has other issues during their stay, the owner will be immediately contacted and the dog will be separated if needed for the comfort or safety of them or other dogs, especially if the dog is suspected of being contagious.
Boarding is our overnight service that functions in the exact same way as daycare. All dogs boarding with us share the same space as the daycare dogs and enjoy all the same services. Overnight, the webcams continue to run so that you can check in on your pup during their stay, with our special night vision cameras allowing you to see them clearly even during our lights out time that runs from 11:00pm to 6:00am. Even during lights out, a trained care specialist stays with the dogs and cares for them, so your pup is never alone at any time during their stay.
Dogs can be dropped of or picked up any time 24/7. A stay counts as boarding if your pup is here past midnight. So if you drop off your pup at 7:00pm and pick up at 3:00am, that would be a boarding night charged at our boarding rate. Like daycare, boarding is tracked using our Check-In app that you can download from the app store. The app contains your special QR code that you can use to securely check your pup in and out of daycare and boarding.
We offer our outside area as a dog park for the exclusive enjoyment of our members every day from 8:00-10:00am and from 5:00-7:00pm.
This is a new feature, our goal is to provide services that customers find safe and useful, so any feedback or suggestions are greatly appreciated and can be emailed to us via our standard email.
We currently offer bathing and nail trims for your pups! Bathing can be scheduled any day, and our nail trim schedule can be found on your online portal. Both services can be added to any daycare or boarding reservation and can be selected when you create or edit the reservation.
We are also looking forward to being able to offer other grooming services in the future, and will update this page as soon as we do!
Dog Taxi is a dog pick up service. Price is variable based on how far away the pickup location is, and it always in the late morning. We do not currently offer drop off. We may expand this service in the future if customers express a need for it.
