Pup Scouts was founded in 2019 by myself, Henry Towberman, with the goal of providing an unprecedented quality of dog care to my home here in the Rockville/Bethesda area, and moved into our current facility in 2024! While other dog daycares keep dogs in cages for a large portion of their stay, often more than half the time, and where their owners can not see their dogs, I chose to instead open the first and only dog daycare in the area that is truly cage free. Dogs who stay at Pup Scouts are under 24/7 supervision by our trained staff members, which are all hand picked and trained by myself. We believe that each dog in our care is of the utmost importance, and deserves the highest quality of supervision as well, and believe that dog owners should always be able to know exactly who is watching their pups, so we list our entire team for you below! The founder and owner of Pup Scouts, Henry oversees everything that happens at Pup Scouts and cares for the dogs himself every day, and he performs every meet and greet for new pups himself, so you will meet him when you book a meet and greet. Henry has worked in the dog daycare industry in Virginia and Maryland for over 10 years, and has owned dogs his entire life! He is active and driven in his goal to continue to improve the quality of care available for dogs far into the future. Indira oversees most of Pup Scouts’ administrative systems, using her organization skills and background in systems engineering to allow everything at Pup Scouts to run smoothly, both online and around the building!
