All federal holidays

     This includes the holiday itself, and, if the holiday falls on a weekend, a Friday, or a Monday, that weekend as well. The federal holidays days are currently: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr’s Birthday, Washington’s Birthday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day

Thanksgiving Day

     The 4th Wednesday of November through the following Monday

Christmas

     December 23rd through December 31st

These are days where a large number of customers and staff tend to take vacations.

This means that during these time periods, dog daycares are faced with more dogs than usual, with even less staff than usual to manage them, which would hinder their ability to care for the dogs.

This higher rate allows us to avoid that problem, remain fully open, and compensate our holiday staff at a higher rate for their hard work, allowing us to have a robust team of care specialists, even during the holidays, to give your pup the same high level of care as we do throughout the year.
